Convenience is a bar and restaurant made up of two components: a front corner store area that opens during the day, and a back bar and restaurant that opens in the evening. Besides producing the interior design package, we created a whimsical security mirror installation for restaurant and bar Convenience. Wanting to bring a sense of nostalgia to Toronto’s West Queen West neighbourhood, the security mirrors ignites childhood memories of biking to convenience stores. Welded together as one piece with “L” shaped brackets and flat bars, the installation hangs over the dining areas.
