DANIELS, 2021
For PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL
Situated near a ravine, the house is distinct from its neighbourhood, as it is an upgrade from the typical one-storey post WWII bungalows in the area. Due to Etobicoke’s rigid zoning bylaws, this project also required multiple minor variances. Clad in white brick and accented by black frames, the façade becomes its own canvas. With a clean and minimal approach, the classic elements of the house have been built with contemporary details, making for timeless interiors and warm aesthetics. The walnut veneered kitchen and minimal white quartz create beautiful contrasts, displaying a clean and subtle elegance against the plain white and dolomite plastered walls.
