WIND-SPINNERS, 2018

For RBC Echo Beach x Bud Light

​

We were hired by Young Offenders and Bud Light to design a responsive/interactive art pieces for their summer music festival. Since the Toronto Harbour is known for their windy days during the summer, we proposed to create playful wind-spinners to respond to the surrounding environment. Our proposal created a concentration of freestanding wind-spinners at specified heights, to mimic a forest of moving sculptures. The windspinners harmonize with the Island, interacting with the surrounding trees, wind, and other elements to create a true vision of responsive/interactive pieces.
